For first-time use, you must authorize the app to access Zendesk APIs.
Authorization
- Navigate to the Admin Center then from the navigation bar search for zendesk API.
- Choose the OAuth Clients tab ,and then click on the Add OAuth Client button.
- In the Client name field add any name you need, we suggest ( CSAT-Timer-Client).
- Skip the other fields and go down to the Redirect URLs field ,paste the copied url from the Admin Panel here (double -check for any mistakes.),then save.
- A window will be opened from there, copy the Client Name and the secret and save them in a secure location ,then click save.
- Go back to the Admin panel .In the Client Id field paste the copied Client Name and in the Client Secret paste the copied secret from the previous step (double check for any mistakes ).
- Click on Authorize
8 . Click Allow ,if everything is ok a new screen will be displayed telling you that the authorization is done successfully.
Now CSAT-Timer successfully authorized.
SUNCO API
In case you need to define a rule regardless of the channel , in other words define a master role .
From Admin Panel:
Choose Sunco API tab and switch the Activate Mater Rule on then click save .
In case you need to define a custom rule for each channel , in other words define a sub role based on every messaging channel.
Navigate to Admin Center :
- From the navigation bar search for the Conversations API .
- From the Conversations API screen click on Create API key button .
- In the name field add any name you need we suggest (CSAT-Timer-API) ,then click next.
- From the displayed screen copy the APP ID,KEY ID, SECRET KEY and save them in a secure location ,then click next.
- Go back to the Sunco API tab ,paste the APP ID,KEY ID, SECRET KEY from the previous step in their fields and click save.
